Meet Dr. Suset Romano
For over 15 years, Dr. Romano has worked in almost every position in a dentist’s office, including front desk work, treatment plan coordinator, dental assistant, office manager, and finally a doctor herself! What she enjoys most about her work by far is being able to help patients rediscover a sense of self-confidence through their improved smile. Interested in learning more about her? Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
As a child, Dr. Romano struggled badly with rampant tooth decay, which led to bullying from other kids her age. Thankfully, dentistry helped turn her confidence around in due time, and because of that, she started to feel a strong connection to the field that eventually led to a lifelong career. She’s always had a strong passion for helping others – particularly marginalized and underrepresented people – and wants to encourage everyone to smile fearlessly!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Romano completed her dental doctorate at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. Since then, she has attended a great of continuing education at prestigious institutions like the Dawson Academy to further build upon her skillset, including becoming certified in nitrous oxide and Invisalign. She is a current member of the following organizations:
- American Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- SPEAR Education
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Romano is married with two kids – one still on the way! In her spare time, you can often find her dancing, attending church, practicing photography, enjoying nature, listening to music, and hanging out with family and friends.
